Our observers have a high level of training and experience and are able to work in different types of situations.  They are known for their versatility and professionalism, and the quality of their work is reflected in their results.

Although not all countries have implemented specific guidelines to regulate environmental impacts in the marine environment, most companies and industries are adopting a "preventive" or "best practice" approach, are voluntarily using MMOs to implement mitigation measures.

Most of our MMOs are involved in different conservation projects in their areas of expertise, and many of them work outside of these projects in order to sustain them.  In addition a part of all the incomes received by Alterseas Marine Mammal Observers is given as a contribution to these and other projects, so by hiring our services you too become a sponsor of this work.
